On Tuesday 8 September, the International Spirits Challenge (ISC) announced that Tullamore DEW won five gold medals and one silver medal from the world-renowned industry body of experts. An ISC medal is an internationally recognised symbol of excellence. It’s trusted and respected by trade buyers and consumers across the globe.
Now in its 25th year, the ISC body promotes outstanding quality spirits from across the globe. The competition is founded on a rigorous and independent judging process. Receiving more than 1,700 entries from nearly 70 countries worldwide, the ISC is a truly global competition. It’s supported by many of the world’s leading spirits producers as the international standard for quality and excellence.
As the world’s second largest Irish whiskey brand with global sales of more than 1.4m cases annually, Tullamore DEW is no stranger to winning awards, having received eight awards already this year from respected industry bodies. Tullamore DEW is the original triple blend of Irish whiskey, by combining three spirits the blend offers three dimensions of flavour to explore; malt whiskey providing fruit flavours, pot still whiskey provides spice and grain whiskey gives a sweet taste. These three spirits come together to offer a balance of flavour like no other Irish blend. Tullamore DEW’s commitment to growth is reflected in their state-of-the-art distillery in Tullamore, County Offaly, Ireland. Built in 2014, the brand has invested over 100 million in making it one of the country’s few grain-to-glass distilleries and recently completed the construction of an on-site cooperage due to be unveiled later this year.
Tullamore DEW’s award-winning range includes Tullamore DEW Original, Tullamore DEW XO Caribbean Rum Cask Finish, Tullamore DEW 12YO Special Reserve, Tullamore DEW 14YO Single Malt and Tullamore DEW 18YO Single Malt.
