Leah van Deventer

Leah van Deventer is an award-winning South African drinks writer, cocktail competition judge and general booze enthusiast. In the name of research, Leah’s slurped her way through concoctions in some 40 countries, yet still she favours the timeless simplicity of the Old Fashioned. Although she hasn’t spent much time behind the stick herself – preferring barstool to bar tool – Leah’s been known to mix the occasional drinkable drink in her home bar.
